Operational Issues SummarySource of truth This is the concise operational issue summary. Source of truth remains reports/trading-journal/daily/2026-06-05.md, which contains the full timeline, evidence, validation, and operator-control notes. Daily Journal HighlightsBroker Truth Prep - 20:56 ET • Account Cash Vs Start from broker truth: `lucid_flex_50k_04 $50,055.00 +$55.00`; `lucid_flex_50k_03 $50,001.25 +$1.25`; `lucid_pro_25k_08 $25,028.25 +$28.25`; `lucid_pro_25k_07 $25,029.00 +$29.00`. • Operator framing for the public read: 3 of the 4 listed accounts are already past the 3-trading-day consistency hurdle; the remaining path is roughly 3.5 trading days at about `$300-$350` per day toward the `$1,250` profit target. VIX Regime Logging Plan - 00:33 ET • Future MES/MNQ Pine work should add VIX as a market-regime filter/log field, not as a buy/sell signal. • Initial deployment should be log-only so VIX can be reviewed after 50-100 logged MES/MNQ trades before deciding whether it should block or change size. MES Alert And Sizing Review - 11:06 ET • Since 09:35 ET, actual MES fires included GK5, GK2, full-input GK, Holy Grail, and GK1/GK2 stacking activity. • Operator expectation gap: only GK5 was expected to be 2ct. GK1 entering at 2ct plus GK2 adding 1ct created about 3ct short exposure into the 10:48 ET reversal. Tradovate Auth Gate Blunder - 14:05 ET • Three live MES sell alerts reached the combined bot: `MES #4 HP GK Sniper - Full Input Match`, `MES #1 HP GK Sniper`, and `MES #2 HP GK Sniper`. • No Lucid or Abe Tradovate orders were placed for these alerts. The Abe/Lucid group gate blocked all 12 day-trading Tradovate rows because Lucid auth was unhealthy. Tradovate Auth Refresh Fix - 14:22 ET • Source fix: `src/brokers/tradovate/auth.py` now fails fast when a `.env` Tradovate token is expired instead of attempting API credential refresh by default. • API credential refresh is now opt-in only through `ALLOW_TRADOVATE_API_TOKEN_REFRESH=true`; normal live recovery should use the browser token script. Abe Tradovate Token Scheduler Blunder - 14:46 ET • Live MES alerts reached the combined bot at 14:46 ET: full-input GK, GK2, and GK1. • The 10 active Lucid Tradovate rows entered the full-input match short at 1ct and closed at TP around 14:47:03 ET. Abe did not enter any of the three 14:46 ET alert rows. Buler TP Reject Stayed Open - 15:41 ET • Root cause: the Rithmic adapter treated the gateway ACK as enough and did not fail closed on the follow-up exchange-level 352 reject, so the bot marked entries ACTIVE with no working TP target. • Fix applied: Rithmic sessions now record 352 exchange rejects; child SL/TP orders wait briefly after ACK for an exchange reject; if an exit child rejects, the adapter cancels the sibling when applicable, sends a market close, raises an order error, and does not save the trade as active. Operator Takeaways • Keep the platforms separated: Lucid MES, Breakout BTC/ETH, Buler MES, and Webull MES each have their own TradingView alert route. • TradingView decides where an alert goes. Pine should only send trade details like strategy, script name, symbol, TP, and SL. • For MES exits, use the TP/SL prices from the alert. Backend defaults are only a backup when an alert is missing an exit price. • For Breakout/Kraken, size changes mean risk or quantity only. Do not change TP/SL shape unless that is explicitly requested. • After any restart or route change, confirm the lane is flat or safe, unpaused, and pointed at the right platform before trusting live alerts. Weekly HighlightsMost effective fixes • Platform routes were separated so Lucid MES, Breakout/Kraken, Buler MES, and Webull MES each have their own TradingView alert route. • Tradovate auth handling was tightened so expired tokens fail fast instead of silently missing live MES entries. • Rithmic/Buler exit safety was improved so exchange-level child-order rejects no longer leave an entry marked safe with no working TP. • Breakout/Kraken stale-bracket handling was diagnosed and guarded as a live-execution issue, not a backend sizing excuse. • The most important execution fix: bot config had been overriding Pine TP/SL intent. That was corrected so live exits follow Pine again, aiming to repeat the cleaner May 20-22 success pattern instead of letting backend defaults distort trades. |
